We are now taking applications for The Seb Factor 2026!
Last year, our winner was twelve-year-old Darcey Burnham who wowed the judges and won our second trophy, and the chance to perform at the Kettering Christmas lights switch-on.
UNTIL APPLICATIONS CLOSE ON SUNDAY 31st MAY 2026
We are looking for: singers, musicians, dancers, comedians, magicians – in fact, all kinds of performers. This year we will be asking for contestants in FOUR different categories – 13-and-under boys, 13-and-under girls, over thirteens and groups. Contestants must be no older than eighteen on 31/12/26.
We will invite applicants to a live audition day later in the summer!
After the live audition day we will announce the contestants in each group who have made it through to the live show. Previous contestants are welcome to enter. It is not just a singing competition – we are looking for talent of all kinds – dancing, comedy, acting, music, magic – the possibilities are endless!
This year’s show will take place at the Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering on Sundat 4th October 2026 and, once again, the prize package will include a trophy, £500 to donate to a charity of your choice, a selection of vouchers and treats – and the chance to perform at the 2026 switch-on, with thanks to Kettering Town Council.
On the night we will have a winner in each category, who will go through to the final vote and be our overall winner.
We will also encourage all contestants to fundraise and get sponsors to help us raise money for Youth Works Northamptonshire, with a special prize for the best fundraiser.
